Starter Motor (G2110302): Removal

NOTE:

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
- Remove the catalytic converter.
Refer to: CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND GASOLINE PARTICULATE FILTER ASSEMBLY - VEHICLES WITH: ROW SPECIFICATION (G2524050) .
- Release the cover.
- Disconnect the battery cable.
Disconnect the wiring harness nut.

CAUTION: Do not allow the starter motor to hang from the breathers.
Remove the bolts and release the starter motor.
Release the breather and remove the starter motor.
