Left Engine Mount (G2318613): Removal

NOTE:

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

CAUTION: Note the position of the components prior to removal.NOTE:
- North American Specification (NAS) vehicles only.
- Remove the mass damper and the bracket in an assembly prior to engine mount fixing removal.
- Remove the left engine mount bolt.
- Remove the mass damper and the bracket from the left engine mount.

NOTE: NAS vehicles only.
- Remove the left engine mount bolt.
- Remove the left engine mount nut.

NOTE: Rest Of World (ROW) vehicles only.
- Remove the 2 left engine mount bolts.
- Remove the left engine mount nut.
Remove the right engine mount nut.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
- Remove the automatic transmission fluid cooler bolt.
- Reposition the automatic transmission fluid cooler.
- Remove the 2 bracket bolts.
- Remove the bracket.
Release the accessory drive belt.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
- Disconnect the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor electrical connector.

CAUTION: Make sure that there is no tension on the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipes when the A/C compressor bolts are removed. Use suitable equipment to support the A/C compressor.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Reposition and support the A/C compressor.

WARNING: Take care while lifting the engine assembly. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.CAUTION: Make sure the tool seated evenly before lift the engine assembly. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the surrounding components.
With a suitable tool, raise and support the engine.
General Equipment: Transmission jack

Remove the left engine mount.
