Drive Plate (G2246997): Installation

  1. NOTE: Make sure the crankshaft and drive plate mating faces are clean before installation.

    • Install the drive plate in the correct position and tighten the 10 bolts to the correct torque.

      Torque 

      Stage 1: 45 Nm 

      Stage 2: 90° 

    • Release the 2 bolts from the special tool and remove the special tool.

      Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1304 

  2. Install the transmission assembly.

    Refer to: the appropriate Service Information.

  3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
