Exhaust System - V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol (G2263555): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Remove the rear silencer.
Refer to: REAR SILENCER .

- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Remove the center body undershield.
NOTE: This step requires the aid of another technician.

- Remove and discard the 2 clamps.
- Release the 2 mounting rubbers.
- With assistance, remove the front silencer.

- Disconnect the 4 Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connectors.
- Remove the 4 nuts.
- Remove the 2 catalytic converters.
