Active Exhaust Soft Key

The active exhaust soft key is located on the ICDM and can be activated through the 'Vehicle' screen. Touch the 'Vehicle' at the top of the ICDM to see the 'Vehicle' settings screen.
A simple touch allows the driver to activate or deactivate the active exhaust system manually. The soft key notifies the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) to broadcast the active exhaust operation request to the Body Control Module (BCM)/Gateway Module A (GWM). The signal to the BCM /GWM is transmitted through the High Speed (HS) Controller Area Network (CAN) comfort systems bus. The BCM /GWM sends the signal on the FlexRay bus to the PCM .
