Active Exhaust Module

The AEM is located by the spare wheel, under the luggage compartment floor trim panel. The AEM provides power supply and monitors the active exhaust valves for malfunctions. The AEM resets the actuators if required to bring them back into an operational state.
The AEM has the following electrical connections:
- A fused power supply from the Engine Junction Box (EJB) with the ignition is ON.
- A hardwired connection for a PWM signal from the PCM .
- A ground
- Power output to each exhaust valve actuators.
- A ground connection to each exhaust valve actuators.
- A hardwired connection to each exhaust valve actuators to forward the PWM signal from the PCM .
