Thermostat Housing (G2323060): Installation

    • Install the new O-ring seal.

      Renew Part: Thermostat housing seal(s) Quantity: 1 . 

    • Install the thermostat housing.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 12 Nm 

  2. Connect the coolant hose.
  3. Install the wiring harness clip.
    • Install the coolant hose.
    • Install the 2 clamps.
  5. Connect the 2 coolant hoses.
  6. Connect the electrical connector.
    • Install the wiring harness clip.
    • Install the wiring harness into the clip.
    • Install the A/C  compressor bracket.
    • Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

      Torque  : 25 Nm 

    • Install the A/C  pipe.
    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

  10. Install the A/C  compressor.

    Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR - INGENIUM I6 3.0L PETROL

  11. Vacuum fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING 

  12. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
