Electric Park Brake Service Mode Activation And Deactivation (G2951240): Deactivation

  1. Press and HOLD  the transmission park button.
  2. Wait one second.
  3. Fully press and HOLD  the accelerator pedal.
  4. Wait one second.
  5. Switch the ignition OFF  .
  6. Wait one second.
  7. Switch the ignition ON  .
    NOTE: An audible noise will be heard, the 'Park Brake in Maintenance Mode'  message and yellow park brake warning light will be turned OFF  on the instrument panel cluster when the parking brake service mode is DEACTIVATED  .
  8. Release the accelerator pedal and transmission park button.
