Brake Hose (G2792004): Removal
WARNING:
Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
CAUTION:
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
- Brake fluid will damage paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove the fluid and clean the area with water.
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

- Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to activate the integrated power brake assembly mode.

General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
- Set the Electric Park Brake (EPB) to the maintenance position.
- Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to activate the integrated power brake assembly mode.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the rear wheel arch liner.

Disconnect the brake hose union.
- Remove the brake hose clip.
- Release the brake hose from the body bracket.

CAUTION: Make sure that the 2 sealing washers are removed and discarded.
- Remove the bolt.
- Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper.
- Remove and discard the brake hose and the 2 sealing washers.
