Brake Hose (G2792004): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the 2 new sealing washers are correctly installed on the new brake hose.
    NOTE: The brake hose with sealing washers and bolt is only available as an assembly.
    • Install and the brake hose to the brake caliper.

      Renew Part: Brake hose Quantity: 1 . 

    • Install and tighten the bolt.

      Torque  : 35 Nm 

  2. CAUTION: Make sure that the brake hose is not twisted and is correctly located.
    • Install the brake hose into the body bracket.
    • Install the brake hose clip.
  3. Tighten the brake hose union.

    Torque  : 16 Nm 

  4. Remove the rear wheel arch liner.

    Refer to: REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER

  5. Bleed the brake system.

    Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING

    • Use the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment to disable the EPB  maintenance position.

      General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment 

    • Use the JLR  approved diagnostic equipment to deactivate the integrated power brake assembly mode.
