Instrument Cluster (G2133053): Removal
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- When a new instrument cluster is to be installed, the Land Rover approved diagnostic system must be connected to the vehicle and the instrument cluster renewal procedure followed. This will allow vehicle coding data and current service interval data to be correctly installed to the new instrument cluster
- 19MY onward and non-NAS markets only - if a new instrument cluster is to be installed, a new Remote Function Actuator (RFA) may be required. All vehicle keys must be presented to complete the RFA renewal.

CAUTION: If the software number is K8D2-14C104-AC or L8B2-14C104-AC, a new RFA will be required.NOTE:
- This step is only applicable to 19MY onward vehicles.
- Non-NAS Markets only.
Using the Land Rover diagnostic equipment, read the RFA software number.
General Equipment: Land Rover diagnostic equipment
- Fully extend and lower the steering column for access.
- Release the steering column adjustment lever.
- Release the steering column lower panel.
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY
Remove the steering column upper cover.
Remove the instrument panel end trim panel.
Remove the instrument panel outer trim panel.
Remove the driver side face level vent.

Remove the instrument cluster trim panel.
Remove the instrument cluster upper cover.
Remove the instrument cluster.

Remove the instrument cluster.
