Wheel And Tire (G2298205): Removal

WARNING: Make sure to follow the procedure carefully and read all warnings cautions and notes. Failure to follow this may result in the incorrect tightening sequences used.

CAUTION:

The wheel and tire assembly will be heavy.
Using power tools may result in damage to the wheel nuts. Make sure the wheel nuts are removed and installed using hand tools only.

NOTE: This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the locking wheel nut, if equipped.
- Remove the wheel nuts.
- Remove the wheel and tire.
