Tire Pressure Sensor (G2301164): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

    Clean the valve seat on the wheel.

  2. CAUTION:
    • Do not apply any lubricant to the new valve.
    • Do not use compressed air to clean the sensor. Do not clean the sensor with solvents or cleaning agents of any type. Use a clean dry cloth.
    NOTE:
    • Make sure that the new sensor has the correct frequency 433 MHz, the correct type TG1Cv3 and the correct part number LR070840.
    • Make sure that the components are installed with the correct orientation.

    Install the tire pressure sensor.

    Renew Part: Tire pressure monitoring system sensor seal kit Quantity: 4 . 

    Torque  : 8 Nm 

  3. Install the tire to the wheel.

    Inflate the tire until the tire bead is fully seated on to the wheel.

  5. Adjust the tire to the recommended pressure on the vehicle.
  6. Install the cap.
  7. Balance the wheel and tire assembly.
  8. Install the wheel and tire.
