Oil Pump Drive Chain (G2299903): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that the oil pump drive sprocket is aligned with the oil pump shaft correctly.
    • Install the oil pump drive chain and sprocket.
    • Use the special tool to hold the oil pump drive sprocket.

      Special Tool(s): 205-053 

    • Install and tighten the new bolt.

      Renew Part: Oil pump gear bolt Quantity: 1 . 

      Torque 

      1. Stage 1: 60 Nm 
      2. Stage 2: 90° 
  2. Install the oil pan.

    Refer to: OIL PAN .

  3. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
