Left Powertrain Mount (G2318450): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles 

1. • Install the left powertrain mount.
   • Install the 3 left powertrain mount inner bolts finger tight at this stage.
2. • Install the left powertrain mount damper.
   • Install and tighten the 2 left powertrain mount outer bolts.

     Torque  : 60 Nm 

3. Tighten the 3 left powertrain mount inner bolts.

   Torque  : 60 Nm 

4. • Install the left powertrain mount bracket.
   • Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

     Renew Part: Left powertrain mount to transmission bolt(s) Quantity: 4 . 

     Torque  : 80 Nm 

   • Install the transmission wiring harness clip.
5. • Reposition the transmission wiring harness.
   • Install and tighten the bolt.

     Torque  : 12 Nm 

6. Raise the powertrain assembly.

   Make sure the left powertrain mount is correctly aligned.

8. Install and tighten the 3 left powertrain mount upper bolts.

   Renew Part: Left powertrain mount upper bolt(s) Quantity: 3 . 

   Torque 

   1. Stage 1: 70 Nm 
   2. Stage 2: 120° 
9. Remove the trolley jack and wooden block.
10. Install the transmission breather pipe clip.
11. • Install the startup battery tray bracket.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 12 Nm 

    The following step(s) applies to: 

    Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicles 

12. Install the MHEV  battery cable clip.

    The following step(s) applies to: 

    All vehicles 

13. Install the front left wheel arch liner.

    Refer to: FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER .

14. Install the engine undershield.

    Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

15. Install the startup battery tray.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY TRAY .

16. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
