Crankshaft Pulley - Vehicles With: MHEV (G2298836): Removal

NOTE:

  • This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
  1. Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .

  2. Remove the belt integrated starter generator belt.

    Refer to: BELT INTEGRATED STARTER GENERATOR BELT - VEHICLES WITH: MHEV .

    Install the special tools.

    Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630  , JLR-303-1686 

  4. CAUTION: Make sure that the special tool is correctly located.

    Install the special tools.

    Remove and discard the 4 bolts.

    • Remove the special tools.

      Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630  , JLR-303-1686 

    • Remove the crankshaft pulley.
