Coolant Pump - Vehicles With: MHEV (G2308654): Installation

- Install the coolant pump.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts as illustrated.
  Torque : 6 Nm
- Install the remaining 4 bolts.
- Tighten the 6 bolts.
  Torque : 12 Nm
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 12 Nm
Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Install the coolant pump pulley.
- Install the 3 bolts finger tight at this stage.
Install the accessory drive belt.
Refer to: COOLANT PUMP BELT .

- Use the special tool to hold the coolant pump pulley.
  Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1668
- Tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 25 Nm
- Repeat this step for the remaining 2 bolts.
Vacuum fill the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
