Charge Air Cooler
Electrical power for the charge air coolant pump is supplied from the Battery Junction Box (BJB). When the relay is energized, the relay connects power from the startup battery to the charge air coolant pump. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls the operation of the charge air coolant pump with a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal. When the charge air coolant pump is running, engine coolant flows from the pump outlet through the charge air cooler. Then it goes to the charge air radiator and back to the charge air coolant pump inlet connection.
