Engine Wiring Harness - INGENIUM I3 1.5L Petrol, Vehicles With: PHEV (G2408992): Installation

Install the engine wiring harness.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Install and tighten the wiring harness bracket bolt.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install and tighten the ground cable bolt.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Connect the oil pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
Connect the 2 variable coolant pump electrical connectors.
- Connect the thermostat electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Reposition the catalytic converter and GPF support bracket.
- Install and finger tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Reposition the GPF back pressure sensor assembly bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Install the right NVH cover.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Connect the cylinder head temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the exhaust CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the fuel injector link harness electrical connector.
- Install the 2 electrical connector clips.
- Connect the 2 HO2S electrical connectors.
- Connect the purge valve electrical connector.
- Connect the purge valve pressure sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the intake CMP sensor electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Connect the 3 ignition coil electrical connectors.
- Connect the throttle body electrical connector.
- Connect the HP fuel pump electrical connector.
- Connect the FRPT sensor electrical connector.
Install the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) breather pipe.
- Connect the 2 main wiring harness electrical connectors.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 5 Nm
- Connect the PCM electrical connector.
- Install the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Install the wiring harness bracket to the secondary bulkhead panel.
- Connect the 2 transmission electrical connectors.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Install the 3 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the 2 VCT solenoid electrical connectors.
- Connect the turbocharger wastegate actuator electrical connector.
- Connect the rear knock sensor electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Connect the MAPT sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the cylinder block temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install the wiring harness clip.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping engine coolant.
- Reposition the engine coolant degas separator assembly.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 11.5 Nm
- Install the coolant pipe.
- Check and top-up the engine coolant if required.
- Clean any spilt coolant from the vehicle.
- Install the NVH cover.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install the wiring harness bracket.
- Connect the knock sensor link harness electrical connector.
- Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install the 5 wiring harness clips.
- Connect the piston cooling oil jet solenoid electrical connector.
- Connect the A/C compressor electrical connector.
- Connect the starter motor electrical connector.
- Connect the oil pump control solenoid electrical connector.
- Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
Install the startup battery tray.

Install the air filter housing outlet pipe.

Install the air filter housing.
Refer to: AIR FILTER HOUSING (G2294774)
Install the BISG .
Refer to: BELT INTEGRATED STARTER GENERATOR - INGENIUM I3 1.5L PETROL, VEHICLES WITH: PHEV .
Install the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
