Passenger Compartment Wiring Harness To Instrument Panel Bracket Repair (G2384227): Repair

Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Disconnect the footwell lamp electrical connector.

Remove the footwell lamp bracket.

- Visually inspect the wiring harness.
- If the wiring harness is damaged, repair the damaged wiring harness before continuing to step 5.
  Refer to: WIRING HARNESS REPAIR .
- If the wiring harness is not damaged, continue to step 5

Cut the butyl patch to the measurements shown.
NOTE: The butyl patch should be even across both sides of the footwell lamp bracket.

Install the butyl patch to the footwell lamp bracket as shown.
NOTE:
- The butyl patch should cover the area shown.
- Use the remainder of the butyl patch from step 5.

Apply butyl patch to the wiring harness.

Install the footwell lamp bracket.

Torque : 9 Nm

Connect the footwell lamp electrical connector.

Install the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Torque : 1.5 Nm
