Electric Park Brake Actuator (G2319503): Installation

    • Install the new O-ring seal.

      Renew Part: Electric park brake actuator O-ring seal and bolt kit Quantity: 1 . 

    • Install the Electric Park Brake (EPB) actuator.
    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque  : 9 Nm 

  2. NOTE: Make sure the wiring harness is routed correctly.
    • Connect and secure the wiring harness.
    • Install and tighten the wiring harness bracket bolt.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

  3. Install the wheel and tire.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .

  4. NOTE: This step is only required if the diagnostic equipment is not available.

    Deactivate the service mode function of the EPB.

    Refer to: ELECTRIC PARK BRAKE SERVICE MODE ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION  .

  5. Calibrate the EPB using the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment.

    General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
