Wheel Speed Sensors

There is a wheel speed sensor on each of the wheels. The 4 wheel speed sensors are hardwired to the ABS  .

The wheel speed sensors provide vehicle speed information to the ABS  . The vehicle speed is required for the functions provided by the ABS  :

• Static apply
• High temperature reclamp
• Driver exit warning
• Roll away detection
• Dynamic mode.
