Rear Disc Brake (G2298410): Overview
NOTE:
16 inches diameter and 17 inches diameter refer to minimum size of wheel that can be install over the brake disc and brake caliper assembly.
The rear brake assembly features a brake disc and cast-iron sliding caliper with single piston.
The vehicle is available with 2 sizes of rear brake systems:
- 16 inch diameter brake system (the brake disc is actually 300 mm diameter).
- 17 inch diameter brake system (the brake disc is actually 325 mm diameter).
The size of the brake discs depends on the market and the vehicle specification.
The rear right brake system is equipped with a brake pad wear sensor. Only the inboard brake pad incorporates a pad wear sensor.
