Brake Master Cylinder - Left Hand Drive (G2309371): Installation
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles

CAUTION:
- Make sure that new seals are installed.
- Make sure that new nuts are installed.
- Install the 3 new seals.
Renew Part: Brake master cylinder nuts and seal kit Quantity: 1 .
- Install the brake master cylinder.
- Install and tighten the 2 new nuts.
Torque : 25 Nm
- Connect the 2 brake pipe unions.
Torque : 17, 5 Nm

CAUTION: Make sure that the brake fluid reservoir is correctly seated to the brake master cylinder seals.
Install the brake fluid reservoir.
- Install and tighten the screw.
Torque : 7 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Carefully secure the clip.

Vehicles with automatic transmission
- Install and tighten the screw.
Carefully secure the clip.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with manual transmission
- Carefully secure the clip.
- Connect the clutch master cylinder supply line.
The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles

- Position the secondary bulkhead panel assembly to the original position.
- Install and tighten the 5 bolts.
Torque : 7 Nm

CAUTION: Brake fluid will damage paint finished surfaces. If spilled, immediately remove the fluid and clean the area with water.
- Fill the brake fluid reservoir with the correct amount of brake fluid.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the brake fluid reservoir cap.
- Fill the brake fluid reservoir with the correct amount of brake fluid.
- Install the startup battery tray.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY TRAY .
- Bleed the brake system.
Refer to: BRAKE SYSTEM PRESSURE BLEEDING - VEHICLES WITH: MHEV/NON-ELECTRIC VEHICLES .
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with manual transmission
- Bleed the clutch system.
