Brake Disc - Vehicles With: PHEV (G2740578): Removal
WARNING:
- If new brake discs are to be installed, make sure that new brake pads are installed.
- Brake discs must be replaced in axle sets.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustration depending on the vehicle specification, but essential information is always correct.
- Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to activate the Integrated Power Brake assembly mode.
General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the front wheels and tires.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .

CAUTION: Make sure that the brake hose does not support the full weight of the brake caliper assembly.
- Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor.
- Release the brake pad wear sensor grommet.
- Remove and discard the 2 brake caliper carrier bolts.
- Using a suitable tie strap, secure the caliper to one side.
- Remove and discard the screw.
- Remove the brake disc.
