Hood Latch Panel (G2308355): Removal

NOTE:

The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles

Remove the radiator grille.
Refer to: RADIATOR GRILLE .

The following step(s) applies to:

Plug in hybrid electric vehicles only

- Remove the bolt.
- Reposition the Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) battery cooling system expansion tank.

Release the cooling module wiring harness clip.

Remove the air filter housing bolt.

- Remove the 3 active grille air shutter screws.
- Remove the 2 clips.

- Release the hood release cable from the connecting box.
- Remove the 12 bolts.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the hood release cable from the clip.
- Remove the hood latch panel.
NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

- Release the 2 clips.
- Release the hood release cable.

- Release the hood release cable.
- Release the 4 clips.
- Remove the hood latches.
