Hood (G2309378): Installation

NOTE:
- Only do the following step(s) if the component was previously removed.
- Repeat the step for the other side.
- Install the hood seal.
- Secure the 8 clips.
- Install the hood seal.
- Secure the 23 clips.
- Secure the 2 clips.
- Install the hood seal.
- Secure the 16 clips.
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Install the bump stop.
NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.

Install the bump stop.
- Install the hood latch.
- Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Install the 2 strikers.
- Install and tighten the 4 nuts.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Install the noise vibration and harshness (NVH) cover.
- Install the 11 clips.
CAUTION: Only tighten the nuts finger-tight at this stage.
- With assistance, install the hood.
- Install the 6 nuts.
Align the hood.
Refer to: the appropriate Hood Alignment information .
- Install the pedestrian protection system airbag.
- Install and tighten 12 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the ground cable.
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install and tighten the nut.
  Torque : 10 Nm
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
If a new component has been installed, configure using Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
