Front Bumper (G2299900): Installation

  1. NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
    • Install the front bumper lower grille.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

  2. NOTE: Make sure that the sensor is correctly located to the bracket. Audible clicks will be heard to confirm connection.
    • Install the 4 parking aid sensors.
    • Install the 2 park assist sensors.
  3. NOTE: Left side only.
    • Install the front bumper side bracket.
    • Install and tighten the 3 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install the 2 side finishers to the front bumper.
    • Install and tighten the 8 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

  5. CAUTION: Make sure that the component is correctly located on the locating dowels.

    Install the front proximity camera.

  6. CAUTION: Make sure that the clip is correctly located.
    • Install the CCM  .
    • Install and tighten the 3 screws.

      Torque  : 2 Nm 

    • Install the front fog lamps.
    • Install and tighten the 6 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install and secure the washer hose assembly to the front bumper.
    • Install and tighten the 8 screws to the headlamp washer jets.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install the headlamp washer jet covers.
    • Install and secure the front bumper wiring harness.
    • Connect the 10 electrical connectors.
  10. CAUTION: Care must be taken to avoid damaging the surrounding paintwork.
    • With assistance, install the front bumper.
    • Secure the front bumper on both sides.
    • Install and tighten the 6 bolts on both sides of the front bumper.

      Torque  : 10 Nm 

  11. Install and tighten the 6 lower bolts to the front bumper.

    Torque  : 5.4 Nm 

    • Install the engine front undershield.
    • Install and tighten the 6 bolts.
    • Install the 2 clips.
    • Install the front valance.
    • Install and tighten the 4 screws.

      Torque  : 5.4 Nm 

  14. Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    • Connect the 2 washer jet hoses.
    • Secure the washer jet hose assembly to the front fender.
    • Install the front section of the wheel arch liner.
    • Install and tighten the screw.
    • Install the 8 fasteners.
    • Install the front wheel arch inner molding.
    • Install the 2 fasteners.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.
    • Secure the brake pad wear sensor and shock absorber and wheel speed sensor wiring harnesses.
  18. Install the 4 fasteners to the front bumper upper section.
  19. Install the radiator grille.

    Refer to: RADIATOR GRILLE .

  20. Install the front wheels and tires.

    Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .

    1. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment.

      General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment 

    2. Select 'CCM  - Service Alignment Mode' from the diagnostic menu.

      Refer to: CRUISE CONTROL MODULE DYNAMIC CALIBRATION .
