Front Armature (G2299897): Removal
NOTE:

- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the front bumper.
Refer to: FRONT BUMPER .

NOTE: Repeat the step for the other side.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the mounting bracket.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the 12 bolts.
- Remove the pedestrian impact sensor carrier.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the 9 clips.
- Remove the auxiliary radiator duct.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the upper active grille air shutter.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the 2 horn assemblies.
- Release the horn wiring harness on both sides.
Release the 2 clips.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Release the 5 clips.
- Remove the radiator lower air deflector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the 7 bolts.
- Remove the lower active grille air shutter.

NOTE: If equipped.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Release the auxiliary radiator from the bracket.
Remove the 3 bolts on the left side.
Remove the 3 bolts on the right side.

WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.
Remove the front armature.
