Front Armature (G2299897): Installation

WARNING: This step requires the aid of another technician.
CAUTION:
- To make sure that the front armature is correctly installed and the front armature bolts are correctly torqued, it is critical that the tightening torque is checked 1 further times after the initial torque has been applied.
- Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.

- Install the front armature.
- Install and tighten the 6 bolts to the front armature.
  Torque : 170 Nm
- Check the torque of the center bolt (1).
NOTE:
- If equipped.
- Make sure the auxiliary radiator assembly is installed to the original position.
- Install the auxiliary radiator to the bracket.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 24 Nm
- Install the lower active grille air shutter.
- Install and tighten the 7 bolts.
  Torque : 4.1 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
- Install the radiator lower air deflector.
- Install and tighten the 2 screws.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the 2 horn assemblies.
- Install and tighten the 2 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Reposition the horn wiring harness on both sides.
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Reposition the 2 clips.
- Install the upper active grille air shutter.
- Install the 2 clips.
- Install and tighten the 3 bolts.
  Torque : 4.1 Nm
- Connect the electrical connector.
NOTE:
- If equipped.
- Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
- Install the auxiliary radiator duct.
- Install and tighten the bolt.
  Torque : 10 Nm
- Install the pedestrian impact sensor carrier.
- Install and tighten the 12 bolts.
  Torque : 9 Nm
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Install the 2 mounting brackets.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  Torque : 10 Nm
Install the front bumper.
