Tailgate Latch Scuff Repair (G2767621): Activation

NOTE:
- This step gives details of the parts required for this repair.
- *An allowance equivalent to 45 sterling has been allocated to locally source the repair kit where, due to local legislation, certain markets cannot import aerosol paints.

- Apply vehicle protection to paint and trim.
- Use the sandpaper supplied in the repair kit to prepare the damaged area for paint. Use P180 then P400 until the area is smooth and consistent with the surrounding area.

Use the surface cleaner wipes supplied in the repair kit to clean the damaged area.

- Paint the repaired area with the EQUILIBRIUM spray paint from the repair kit. 2 or 3 coats may be required. Allow 5 minutes between each coat.
- Allow the paint to dry for at least 15 minutes after application of the final coat.
