Hands-Free Tailgate (If Equipped)

The power tailgate is enhanced with a hands-free tailgate function. When a valid upward kick movement is recognized by the vehicle, the turn signal indicators flash and the tailgate operates. An audible warning is given if a valid smart key is not present within 1.2 meters of the tailgate. In this condition, the tailgate does not operate. The hands-free tailgate assemblies are located in both rear corners of the vehicle, behind the rear bumper cover.
