Instrument Panel (G2300530): Installation

NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.
  1. NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if the component was previously removed.
    • Install the Head Up Display (HUD).
    • Install and tighten the 4 screws.

      Torque  : 4.8 Nm 

    • Install the passenger airbag.
    • Install and tighten the 8 nuts.

      Torque  : 6.2 Nm 

    • Install the face vent air duct.
    • Install and tighten the 8 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install the demist vent air duct.
    • Install and tighten the 8 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install the air ionizer.
    • Connect the air ionizer hose.
    • Install and tighten the 4 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

  6. CAUTION: Make sure the wiring harness and electrical connectors are not damaged during this operation.

    1. With assistance, Install the instrument panel.
    2. Install and tighten the 6 center bolts.

      Torque  : 4.8 Nm 

    3. Install and tighten the 5 side bolts.

      Torque  : 8 Nm 

  7. Install and tighten the instrument panel mounting bolt behind the glovebox.

    Torque  : 4.8 Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 2 M6 bolts under the instrument panel center speaker grille.

      Torque  : 4.8 Nm

    • Install the wiring harness to the clip.
    • Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
  10. Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the HUD.
    • Move the wiring harness to the original position.
    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors to the duct air temperature sensors.
    • Install the wiring harness to the 2 clips.

    • Install the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
    • Install and tighten the 3 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector to the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
    • Install the wiring harness to the 2 clips.

    • Install the instrument panel center carrier.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

      Torque  : 4.8 Nm 

    • Install the instrument panel speaker.
    • Install and tighten the 3 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
    • Install the wiring harness to the clip.
    • Connect the electrical connector to the sunload sensor.
    • Install the demist vent trim panel.
    • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

      Torque  : 1.5 Nm 

    • Install the instrument panel center speaker grille.
    • Install the 6 clips.
  17. NOTE: Repeat this step for the other side.

    Install the A-pillar trim panel.

    Refer to: A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL .

  18. Install the instrument panel lower trim panel.

    Refer to: INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER TRIM PANEL  .

  19. Install the passenger side vent.

    Refer to: PASSENGER SIDE VENT .

  20. Install the glovebox.

    Refer to: GLOVEBOX  .

  21. Install the instrument cluster.

    Refer to: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER .

  22. Install the clockspring.

    Refer to: CLOCKSPRING .

  23. Install the floor console.

    Refer to: FLOOR CONSOLE  .

  24. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
