Front Overhead Console (G2299307): Removal

CAUTION:

Protect the surrounding trim to avoid damage.
Make sure that the tools and equipment are clean, free of foreign material and lubricant.

NOTE:

This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

CAUTION: Use a suitable trim tool.

- Carefully release the 4 clips.
- Release the front overhead console.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the front overhead console.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the clips.

NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness.
- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the microphone.

- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the wiring harness.

- Release the 3 motion sensors.

- Remove the Interior Motion Sensor (IMS) module.
