Fuel Tank Filler Pipe - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol - PHEV (G2173215): Removal

Before working on the fuel system make sure to study the fuel system health and safety service information.

Depressurize the fuel system.
Refer to: FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Drain the fuel system.
Refer to: FUEL TANK DRAINING .
Remove the rear right wheel and tire assembly.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .
Remove the rear right fender splash shield.
Refer to: REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER .

Release the fuel pipe.

- Remove the 2 fuel tank filler pipe retaining nuts and the retaining bolt.
- Release the fuel filler neck hose clamp.
- Remove the fuel filler neck.
