Fuel Level Sensor (G1961418): Removal

- Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel related components. Highly flammable vapors are always present and may ignite. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
- The vehicle must be supported using suitable axle stands.

- Always follow the fuel system health and safety precautions, when carrying out any repairs to the fuel system.

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the fuel pump.
Refer to: LOW PRESSURE FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY .
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the fuel lever sensor with bracket and harness.
- Remove the harness clips.
- Remove the fuel level sensor from the bracket.
