Right Engine Mount - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol (G2173212): Removal

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .

Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the engine mounting.

Remove and discard the engine bracket to engine mount nut.
CAUTION: Use a suitable 100mm X 100mm block of wood to support the engine.

Use a suitable hydraulic jack to support the engine as highlighted in the illustration.

General Equipment: Hydraulic floor jacks (2 tonnes minimum capacity)

Remove and discard the 4 engine mounting to subframe bolts.

Remove the engine mount.
