Intake Manifold (G2155469): Removal
- This procedure can only be completed after the vehicle has been powered down by an approved person.

WARNING: Jaguar Land Rover Electric Vehicle Competent Person (EVCP) trained technicians only.
This procedure involves work on components associated with the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to Electric Vehicle Competent Person (EVCP) level or higher are allowed to do this procedure. It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the 'Electric Vehicle Safety Rules'.

- Before handling any High Voltage (HV) connectors the person(s) completing this procedure must refer to the 'High Voltage Electrical Connector Operation and Inspection' document.

WARNING: Jaguar Land Rover Electric Vehicle Authorised Person (EVAP) trained technicians only.
Power Down the High Voltage (HV) system. Only technicians qualified to Electric Vehicle Authorised Person (EVAP) level are allowed to do this procedure. It is mandated that all technicians involved with the steps in this procedure have read and understood the 'Electric Vehicle Safety Rules'.
Refer to: HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE POWER DOWN/UP .
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: LIFTING .
- Drain the engine coolant.
Refer to: the appropriate Engine Cooling information for the procedure. .
- Remove the engine cover.
Refer to: ENGINE COVER - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL .
- Remove the secondary bulkhead center panel.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping fuel.
Disconnect and reposition the fuel lines away from the intake manifold.
- Release the 3 clips.
- Remove the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) material.
Remove the breather pipe.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
Release the coolant hose.
- Release the coolant hose.
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the coolant connecting pipe.
Remove the coolant hose.
- Release the breather pipe.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the purge valve assembly.
Release the vacuum pipe.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Release and reposition the 3 coolant hoses.
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Remove the coolant connecting pipe.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Release the 2 wiring harness clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the wiring harness clip.
Release the air intake pipe.
- Remove the bolt.
- Release the oil level gauge bracket.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Release the hose clamp.
- Release the coolant hose.
- Remove the 7 bolts.
- Remove the intake manifold assembly.
Remove and discard the 4 intake manifold gaskets.

NOTE: Only do the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.
- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the Manifold Absolute Pressure and Temperature (MAPT) sensor.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
- Remove the 4 bolts.
- Remove the throttle body.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
