Crankshaft Pulley - INGENIUM I4 2.0L Petrol - PHEV (G2173074): Removal

The following step(s) applies to:
All vehicles
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the Belt Integrated Starter Generator (BISG) drive belt.
Refer to: BELT INTEGRATED STARTER GENERATOR DRIVE BELT - INGENIUM I4 2.0L PETROL - PHEV .
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with PHEV crankshaft pulley

CAUTION: Make sure that the special tool is correctly located.
- Install the special tool onto the crankshaft pulley.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630
- Install the special tool onto the crankshaft pulley.
Remove the crankshaft pulley bolts.

NOTE:
- If the crankshaft pulley is removed for access only, go to step 1 installation.
- If a new crankshaft pulley is to be installed, go to step 4 installation.
- Remove the special tool.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630
- Remove the crankshaft pulley.
The following step(s) applies to:
Vehicles with MHEV crankshaft pulley
Install the special tools.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630 , JLR-303-1686

CAUTION: Make sure that the special tool is correctly located.
Install the special tools.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1630 , JLR-303-1686
Remove and discard the 4 bolts.

NOTE: For install instruction go to step 4 installation.
- Remove the special tools.
Special Tool(s): JLR-303-1686 , JLR-303-1630
- Remove the crankshaft pulley.
- Remove the special tools.
