Coolant Pump (G2348747): Removal

NOTE:

This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.

Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
Drain the coolant.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
NOTE: Clamp the coolant hose to minimize coolant lose.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the upper coolant hose from the auxiliary coolant pump.
NOTE: Clamp the coolant hose to minimize coolant lose.

- Release the lower coolant hose from the auxiliary coolant pump.
- Release the clip.
- Remove the auxiliary coolant pump.
