Lower GLOVEBOX (G2162293): Removal

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. Remove the upper glovebox.

   Refer to: UPPER GLOVEBOX .

2. Remove the front row passenger seat.

   Refer to: FRONT ROW SEAT .

   Remove the floor console stowage compartment lid hinge cover.

The following step(s) applies to: 

Standard wheelbase

   • Remove the 2 screws.
   • Remove the rear Integrated Control Panel (ICP) cover.
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. NOTE: Take extra care when releasing the clips.

   • Remove the 2 bolts.
   • Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.
   • Remove the floor console rear cover.

   • Remove the 4 bolts.
   • Release the clips.
   • Remove the floor console side panel.

The following step(s) applies to: 

Long wheelbase

   • Remove the 2 screws.
   • Remove the rear Integrated Control Panel (ICP) cover.
   • Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors.
2. NOTE: Take extra care when releasing the clips.

   • Remove the 2 bolts.
   • Disconnect the 5 electrical connectors.
   • Remove the floor console rear cover.

   • Remove the bolt.
   • Remove the floor console side rear panel.

   • Remove the 4 bolts.
   • Release the clips.
   • Remove the floor console side panel.

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

   • Remove the 3 bolts.
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
   • Remove the passenger side footwell trim panel.

   Remove the glovebox 3 lower bolts.

   • Remove the 3 bolts.
   • Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.
   • Release the 2 clips.
   • Remove the lower glovebox.
4. NOTE:

   • Take extra care when releasing the clips.
   • Only carry out the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.

   Remove the glovebox switch.

   • Remove the 3 screws.
   • Remove the glovebox latch.
