Upper GLOVEBOX (G2162294): Removal

NOTE: The ignition must be switched off.

Release the door weatherstrip.
NOTE: Make sure only a suitable plastic tool is used.

Remove the instrument panel end trim panel.

Open the upper glovebox.
CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the component.

Remove the touchscreen trim cover.
CAUTION: Passengers side only.

Remove the floor console front side panel.

Remove the passenger side instrument panel end trim panel.

Remove the passenger side register assembly.

Remove the instrument panel veneer trim panel.

Remove the cover.

- Remove the 5 screws.
- Disconnect the 6 electrical connectors.
- Release the clip.
- Remove the upper glovebox.
NOTE: Only carry out the following step(s) if a new component is to be installed.

- Release the electrical connector clip.
- Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the digital disc player.

- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the glovebox switch.

Remove the glovebox lamp.
