Lower GLOVEBOX (G2162293): Installation

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. • Install the glovebox latch.
   • Install and tighten the 3 screws.
2. NOTE: Make sure that all the clips are correctly installed.

   Install the glovebox switch.

3. • Connect the 3 electrical connectors.
   • Install the 2 clips.
   • Install the lower glovebox.
   • Install and tighten the 6 bolts.
4. • Install the floor console side panel, make sure the clips fully engage.
   • Install and tighten the 4 bolts.

     Torque  : 2.5Nm 

The following step(s) applies to: 

Long wheelbase

1. • Install the floor console side rear panel, make sure the clips fully engage.
   • Install and tighten the bolt.

     Torque  : 2.5Nm 

2. • Connect the 5 electrical connectors.
   • Install the floor console rear cover.
   • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

     Torque  : 2.5Nm 

3. • Connect the 4 electrical connectors.
   • Install the rear Integrated Control Panel (ICP) cover.
   • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

The following step(s) applies to: 

Short wheelbase

1. • Connect the 5 electrical connectors.
   • Install the floor console rear cover.
   • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

     Torque  : 2.5Nm 

2. • Connect the electrical connector.
   • Install the rear Integrated Control Panel (ICP) cover.
   • Install and tighten the 2 screws.

The following step(s) applies to: 

All vehicles

1. Install the floor console stowage compartment lid hinge cover.
2. Install the floor console front side panel.
3. • Connect the electrical connector.
   • Install the passenger side footwell trim panel.
   • Install and tighten the 3 screws.

     Torque  : 10Nm 

4. Install the front row passenger seat.

   Refer to: FRONT ROW SEAT .

5. Install the upper glovebox.

   Refer to: UPPER GLOVEBOX .
