Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage Pump (G2340248): Removal

CAUTION: Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all components must be sealed.

NOTE:

Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: SPECIFICATIONS .
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the left rear wheel arch liner.
Refer to: REAR FENDER SPLASH SHIELD .

- Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness.
- Release the vacuum hose from the Diagnostic Module Tank Leakage (DMTL) filter.

- Remove the bolt.
- Remove the 2 nuts.
- Release the evaporative emission canister.
- Disconnect and release the vacuum hoses.
- Remove the evaporative emission canister.

- Release the vacuum hoses from the DMTL pump.
- Remove the 2 bolts.

- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Remove the DMTL pump and evaporative emission canister bracket.

- Remove the 3 screws.
- Remove the DMTL pump.
