Radiator (G2202189): Removal
CAUTION:
- Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.
- Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the engine undershield.
Refer to: ENGINE UNDERSHIELD .
- Partially drain the cooling system.
Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
Remove the retaining bolt from the cooling fan shroud.
- Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.
Refer to: ELECTRIC COOLING FAN AND SHROUD .
Release the 2 retaining clips and reposition the 2 lower radiator cooling hoses.
- Release the 2 cooling module retaining clips.
- Remove the 2 top cooling module locking pins and tilt the radiator towards the engine.
Remove the 2 retaining screws.
Remove the 2 retaining screws and the 2 lower radiator mounts.
Remove the radiator.
