Cooling Module (G2206421): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Always protect the cooling pack elements to prevent accidental damage.

    Install the cooling module.

  2. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

    Connect the condenser cooling hose.

  3. Connect the shroud to the cooling module.
  4. Install the retaining bolts and rubber washers.

    Torque  : 15 Nm 

  5. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

    Connect the condenser coolant hoses.

  6. CAUTION: Be prepared to collect escaping coolant.

    Connect the lower engine coolant hoses.

  7. Install the upper radiator retaining mounts.
  8. Install the upper radiator brackets.
  9. CAUTION:
    • Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
    • Make sure that all openings are sealed.

    Connect the Air Conditioning (A/C) pipes.

    Renew Part: Air conditioning pipe to compressor O-ring seal(s) Quantity: 3  .

    Torque  : 8 Nm 

  10. Install the cooling fan motor and shroud.

    Refer to: ELECTRIC COOLING FAN AND SHROUD .

  11. Fill the cooling system.

    Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM PARTIAL DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .

  12. Install the front bumper.

    Refer to: FRONT BUMPER .

  13. Charge the A/C system.

    Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
