Electric Park Brake Release When The Vehicle Has No Electrical Power (G1947453): Check
NOTE:

- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.

- Remove the 2 rear wheels and tires.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE
Disconnect the electrical connector from the Electric Park Brake (EPB) actuator.
- Remove and discard the 2 bolts.
- Remove the EPB actuator.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seal.
- CAUTION: The piston must only be released far enough to release the clamping force on the brake disc.
Use a suitable tool to release the piston as illustrated.
- Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the other side.
