Brake Caliper - Vehicles With: 325 Mm Brake Disc (G2312484): Removal
NOTE:

- Connect the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment and set the Electric Park Brake (EPB) to the maintenance position.
General Equipment: Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment

NOTE: This step is only required if the diagnostic equipment is not available.
Activate the service mode function of the EPB.
Refer to: ELECTRIC PARK BRAKE SERVICE MODE ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION .

NOTE: This step is only required if the vehicle has no startup power.
Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: ELECTRIC PARK BRAKE RELEASE WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS NO ELECTRICAL POWER .
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the wheel and tire.

NOTE: Right hand side only.
Remove the brake pad wear sensor.

NOTE: Remove and discard the 2 washers.
Remove the banjo bolt.

WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids.CAUTION:
- If the brake hose banjo bolt has been loosened or removed, a new brake hose assembly must be installed.
- Before disconnecting or removing the components, make sure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean.
- Remove the retaining bolt.
- Remove and discard the brake hose.
- Disconnect the EPB.
- Remove the 2 retaining bolts.
- Remove the brake caliper.

CAUTION: Remove and discard the seal.NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.
- Remove the 2 retaining bolts.
- Remove the EPB actuator.
