Brake Booster - RHD (G1977390): Removal
NOTE:
- This procedure contains some variation in the illustrations depending on the vehicle specification, but the essential information is always correct.
- This procedure contains illustrations showing certain components removed to provide extra clarity.
- Remove the right side secondary bulkhead panel.
Refer to: SECONDARY BULKHEAD RIGHT PANEL
- Remove the brake master cylinder.
Refer to: BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER
Remove the drivers side closing trim panel.
Disconnect the interior light electrical connector.
Remove the retaining pin.
Remove the 4 securing nuts.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

CAUTION: Before removing the component, make sure the surrounding area is clean and dry to prevent contamination entering the brake vacuum system.
Remove the brake vacuum pressure sensor.

CAUTION:
- Do not use excessive force to move the component. Make sure that all fixings are fully released.
- Care must be taken not to damage the brake pipe during this step.
Position the brake pipes to allow access to the brake booster.
Remove the brake booster.
