Brake Disc - Vehicles With: 365 Mm Brake Disc (G2312477): Installation

NOTE: Damaged brake disc shields must be replaced.

CAUTION: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Clean the brake disc using brake cleaning fluid.

Install the brake disc.

Torque : 35 Nm

Install the brake caliper carrier.

Renew Part: Brake caliper carrier bolt(s) Quantity: 2 .

Torque

Stage 1: 110 Nm

Stage 2: 120°

Install the brake pads.
CAUTION: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang on the brake hose.

- Install the brake caliper.
- Install the 2 retaining bolts.
  Torque : 35 Nm
- Connect the Electric Park Brake (EPB).
NOTE: Right side only.

Install the brake pad wear sensor.
Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
Install the rear wheels.
Refer to: WHEEL AND TIRE .
Depress the brake pedal several times, check the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir and top-up with brake fluid if necessary.
NOTE: This step is only required if the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment is not available.

Activate the park brake.

Refer to: ELECTRIC PARK BRAKE SERVICE MODE ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION .
Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostics equipment, calibrate the EPB.
